The Milkman Makes a Comeback, and He is GREEN!

I am so happy that we have a milk man. The service is more than convenient, it helps me be green! I really hope they are making a comeback all across the country.

All the benefits of using a milkman:

• Glass bottles (less waste) that I don't have to lug home from the market;

• Fewer runs to the market (less gas) when we run out (all the time in my family!)

• Support local dairies and famers;
• Keeps my grocery bills down (again, fewer trips to the market, less impulse spending).

Our milkman brings many of those things which are perishable and we run out of often: cheese, juice, bread, eggs, and yogurt. Plus, it is a great community builder!
